Stall mat for gym playground Nov 20, 2021

Stall mats became the best option for a garage gym playground. They work the same as the commercial gym floorings but a fraction of the price.

Before you plan to buy your stall mats, you may have some questions to ask-

  • What kind of pattern do you need to consider?
  • What kind of toolings to prepare and what do you do when you buy them?
  • Is it necessary to bond each other by glue or something else?
  • How to make use of your garage and do not impact your parking?
  • How and how often to clean it?

The gym area stall mat should be safe and anti-skid. Avoid purchasing mats with highly raised or deeply concave patterns as they may cause tripping.

Additionally, since the stall is made of rubber, it may have a distinct odor. If the smell is bothersome, it is recommended to expose the stall mats to air for 1-2 weeks to allow the odor to dissipate. If you need a quicker solution, scrub them thoroughly with soap and a brush.

During installation, there is no need for fasteners to interlink or secure them. Each piece weighs approximately 41kg and when laid on the playground, they are very stable.

Although the stall mat is easy to clean, parking cars on it, especially when the wheels are wet with fluid, can soil the surface and increase the amount of labor required to maintain it. Based on customer feedback, the floor should be cleaned at least once a week, although frequency may vary.

Mat-B is an excellent choice for gym playgrounds, garage floors, CrossFit areas, and other sports activities.
